january; starting fresh, cold mornings, breaths of fresh air.

hi Reader

this is your January edition of the lazy gal official newsletter. let's get into it, first off i've been filming more and trying to post content more. i have some things to work on this month, other habits to continue, and so on.

things I'm looking forward to + grateful for

In January I'm looking forward to:

  • new packages! lipglosses, jackets, new yarn, etc.
  • focusing more on my app, I'm finally done with college apps so now I can have time to focus on my coding
  • a ceasefire for Palestine.

In January I'm grateful for:

  • warm meals and sweaters
  • the ability to rest and sleep in
  • having the money to support my hobbies

content from me

ep 15; 7 reasons it's evident you don't like spending time with yourself.

ep 16; how to correctly reflect on your vision board.

content, I've been enjoying

  • For a few months, I've been seeing Emma Chamberlain's podcast on my Spotify recommendations, and I gave it a try for the first time last week! It was good and I did enjoy listening to it. You can listen to it here: anything goes with emma chamberlain

  • I've started crocheting recently, and one of my favorite YouTube channels is by Mahum, this is her blog. Her tutorials are easy to follow, and she's so sweet and pretty. I made my first project, a purse, following her tutorial.

  • I watched this YouTube video by Eléonora Oxa, on thinking that makes you unforgettable and confident. I like the way she approached this topic in her video, and her account has similar videos that I'm excited to listen more to.

weekly tips

💌 do small things that make you happy, your life doesn't need a big change for you to be happy

💌 don't overcomplicate your life, some things happen for a reason and only time can give you insight

💌 try new hobbies, sometimes we obsess over people or let others affect us too much because we have too much time on our hands. fill your day with things you enjoy doing, and don't be hesitant to try new hobbies :)
